A Blog containing any subject that I have a "Burning Desire" to talk about.

Here are some question I'll throw out there and some facts from the past.

Golf;
Should Michelle Wie just try to stay with the women's tournaments? At least hone her skills more before trying to make the men's tournaments.

Politics;
How will the mid-terms elections turn out? And, how should the democrats run their campaigns to defeat their foes?

Business;
What are some hot stocks? IBI, DODFX. According to some analyst, Environmental Service Companies like Clean Harbors, Phillip Service, Cassella Waste Management to name a few, are forecasting tremendous earnings because of waste we generate and pollution we created from years of neglect. Maybe invest in such companies??

Football;
Can the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl?
My "Week 7" Lock of The Week; "Cardinals" over the "Raiders"

Did You Know;
Aluminum foil was invented in Louisville, Kentucky in 1947 by Richard S. Reynolds, the nephew of the tobacco king R.R. Reynolds.

The modern flush toilet was invented in England in 1775 by the Queen's godson, Sir John Harrington.

The Evil Eye: Antiquity, Near East & Europe. A "dirty look," a "withering glance," "if looks could kill," and "to stare with daggers" are a common expressions that derived from one of the most universal of fears, the evil eye.

Monsignor - The term derives from monseigneur, French for "my lord"

Have fun..

A Blog containing any subject that I have a "Burning Desire" to talk about.

Let me throw out my first Blog subject to all of you. How about my winning ways of playing Roulette at the casinos.

Here's what worked for me:

At the bottom of the roulette table there are three columns that divide the table into thirds. These spots have the tables min bet i.e. $5.00 min on all outer boxes played.

I like to place the min bets on two of the three boxes and watch them closely, these boxes pay 2-1 and you have 2/3 of the numbers covered on the table. I like to move them around by putting them on the outside box or the left box and middle box and so on. Just watch out of the "O" and "OO", but most of the time you can have fun.

My "Lock of the for Week" for NFL's Week 6

Tennessee @ Washington (-10.0)

Tibby's Pick - Tennessee w/ the points
It's a lot of points to give up and Washington is no Indy, where Tenn beat the spread!

One last question....

Will the Democrats take both sides of congress after the mid term elections??
